Aphrodite's Rock

Aphrodite's mythical birthplace 'Petra tou Romiou' is an interesting geological formation of huge rocks along one of the most beautiful coastlines on the island, located on the southwest coast of the Paphos district.

 

Paphos Castle

Paphos Castle is located on the edge of Paphos harbour. It was originally built as a Byzantine fort to protect the harbour.

 

Akamas Peninsula

 It is an area of great natural beauty unaffected by development. The uniqueness of the area for Cyprus, and for the whole of the Mediterranean, is centered on its precious ecology.

 

Tombs of the Kings

Aphrodite's Baths

It is believed that on this romantic site, Aphrodite used to take her baths in the pools of the natural cave.

Lara Turtle Bay

The soft sand is plenty and is in a bay which has the shape of a horseshoe. Lara is a birth ground of the green turtle. The only habitants are wild goats, birds and turtles.
